Welcome!

Welcome to Four Mile Farm located in Ball Ground, GA!  We specialize in grass fed beef and lamb.  Our cattle and sheep are raised as nature intended, on large pastures with lots of space to roam while eating a diet of grass.  Because our animals are raised as nature intended, they are much healthier and happier.  We don't use hormones or antibiotics.  Grassfed beef and lamb is high in Omega-3 fatty acids (the good fat), and is very lean.  Not only does our meat taste delicious, it's good for you!

We offer USDA inspected grassfed beef and lamb, however availability varies.  Give us a call to see what we have.

The Big Canoe farmer's market in 2013 was a huge success!  We are getting rave reviews about our beef and lamb.  However, due to heavy work schedules, currently we are mostly selling through Joyful Noise Acres online market.  Please check them out for availability.  They also offer pasture raised pork, chicken and eggs as well as vegetables from local farmers.

We have one quarter and one eighth of bulk beef available.  The quarter is 73 pounds of meat for $550 and the eighth is 37 pounds of meat for $275 (organs are available but bones aren't.)

Our next and last bulk order for the year will be ready 9/30.  We will have quarters and halves available from that as well.  Quarter is approx 130 pounds for $975 and half is approximately 260 pounds for $1890.

We will not process steers again until April of 2015.  You must pre-order bulk beef because we won't process a steer unless we have buyers.  Please email if you are interested.  Also, please visit our 'Bulk Order FAQ' to learn more about our process.

We were visited by a food blogger Gwen Pratesi who was nominated for a James Beard award in 2012.  Here is a link to her blog entry she wrote about our farm.

Our inventory varies greatly so it's best to email to see what we have.  Or visit Joyful Noise Acres website (see link above.)

Here are some samples of our meat.
